José Ángel Arámbula Ochoa is a choreographer, researcher, and educator with over 30 years of experience in contemporary dance. Originally from Tijuana, Mexico, he is the founder and Artistic Director of Lux Boreal Dance Company, established in 2002. His work spans creation, teaching, production, and the promotion of the performing arts.

José Ángel has performed and shared his work on renowned stages across Mexico, Latin America, the United States, and Europe, and has collaborated as a guest teacher with leading universities internationally. His unique path bridges artistry and rigor—he graduated with honors from the Professional Dance School of Mazatlán, and completed advanced training in pedagogy at the National Pedagogical University.
